International Diploma in Business Computing


International Diploma in Business Computing qualification is designed to provide you the knowledge and skills in a combination of business and computing fields, focusing on advising businesses in implementing the right systems and software to meet their business objectives.

 

This diploma course will give you

C1104: Mathematics for Computing

This module is designed to introduce the students with the fundamental concept of Mathematics used in computing. The module will cover number systems, set theories, mathematical inductions, algebra and calculus, and probability.


C1105: Programming – Algorithms and Data Structure

This module is designed to introduce students with Java programming language and the concept of object-oriented programming. Students will learn about the importance of data structures and associated algorithms to work with abstract data types.


C2104: Web and Multimedia Design

This module is designed to provide the students with hands-on experience of developing a multimedia web site using industry-standard development tools, such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash. The student will be learning how to integrate Photoshop images and Flash movies, audios and videos into a web site.


C2202: Database Design and Implementation

This module is designed to provide students with the concept of relational models and to be able to design a proper database using appropriate tools.


B2203: Business Communication

This module lets students study the principles of effective written and oral business communications. Emphasis is placed on the composition and formatting of business correspondence, including good/routine news, bad news, and persuasive messages.


B2201: Business Accounting

This module is designed to equip students the fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and practices. It allows students to record accounting transactions into journals, ledgers, balance sheets and to create financial statements.


B2202: Principles of Business

The module provides a comprehensive survey of the functional areas of business: management, marketing, accounting, finance, and information technology.  It also helps students appreciate the interrelationship of these business functions and, more generally, the role and context of business in society.


B2205: Economics

This module will provide students the underlying concepts of economics. The module focuses on today’s most important economic theories, events as well as how they relate to real-world situations. It equips students with a solid economic foundation which they can use to build successful careers no matter what.


Teacher-Student Ratio

The average Teacher-Student ratio of Genetic Computer School is 1:25. This ratio will ensure that the learning experience of each student would be at its optimum level. This is to maintain a high-quality standard for the student’s education.

Minimum Academic Standards

The passing percentage of each module is greater than or equal to 50

To be awarded with CIT, Diploma and Higher Diploma, students must pass all the modules
