Student Protection Scheme 

Under CaseTrust for Education, Private Education Organizations (PEO) must provide a Student Protection Scheme (SPS) for all international students. We have since October 2009 appointed Lonpac Berhad as our Insurer for the Student Fee Protection under the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS). 

The FPS serves to protect the students' fees in the event that a PEO is unable to continue operations due to insolvency and/or regulatory closure. 

All academic students are covered by the FPS. Genetic Computer School also covers by all academic students with Hospitalization Insurance of up to SGD$20,000. 

Period of Insurance

The period of insurance will cover the entire duration of the course plus 2 months for the course enrolled by the insured student. The period of Insurance starts from the time the school receives any course fee payment. The insurance premium is dependent on programme duration, Genetic Computer School's course fees and premium rate quoted by Lonpac. The insurance premium paid is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Certificate of Student Insurance

Upon payment of the insurance premium, Lonpac will issue a Certificate of Student Insurance to Genetic Computer School for the insured student. This is required for student pass applications.

Claims

The insured student needs to produce his/her Certificate of Student Insurance and original course fees receipts when submitting a claim under the insurance. Lonpac Berhad will notify all insured students of the relevant claims procedures to be followed.
